We are thinking “It Happened One Night” meets “Bonnie and Clyde” … or more appropriately “the Great Gatsby” really experiencing the “Great Depression.” We’re planning the wedding on a pretty tight budget, but I don’t want to sacrifice style for lack of funds. So, I think with outdoor lights and candles we can make it look lush and elegant and with color we were thinking muted or aged jeweled tones appropriate for a farm setting outside of the city. As for style, Claudette Colbert and Clark Gable are scrumptious-looking in the movie; I hope that we can re-create their look for a day with both fashion and decor.
